I travelled from Brisbane to Sydney to have a procedure done at Smile Concepts as they were the only dental surgery I could find in Australia who actually done this procedure. From the get-go, Sylvia, the practice manager was more then accommodating. I couldn't make it in for a consultation as I live in Brisbane so she requested I send in photos to show the Dr, came back with a quote and a booking all in the same day. Dr Kinnar Shah was amazing! So professional and he made me feel very comfortable whilst having the procedure done - he even put on the 'Fresh Prince of Bel Air' to keep my mind off things! :) The nurses were lovely and full of information. I have just finished my braces treatment with Dr Lina. I came into the office approx 18months ago with the goal of a new smile for my wedding. I had braces in high school however by not wearing my retainer and losing it over the years my teeth had moved dramatically. Fast forward to now and I can’t stop smiling at everyone in the office. Following my deband yesterday I also got teeth whitening after a little initial discomfort I’m feeling great. I appreciate the follow up call today from the front desk so I can brag about my smile some more to them lol. The customer service & attention to detail at smile concepts are unmatched. I've had an excellent experience every time I've gone to Smile Concepts. The teeth whitening not only works really well, it is also the most affordable place I could find in Sydney. General clean and fillings were a lot less stressful than any other place I've been, and the dentist was nice and calm and professional. It also didn't hurt, he used numbing cream so the anaesthetic was painless. He really took time to make sure I was comfortable with everything. The biggest difference was definitely how friendly and attentive all the staff were, especially Alexia. They went out of their way to have you laughing about something as soon as you walk in regardless of how worried you are about being at a dentist. Definitely definitely worth coming here to have a much more stress free experience. ~ Mieke A

I have had quite a lot of dental work done with Smile Concepts over the past few years and I would thoroughly recommend them to anybody. I had avoided visiting a dentist for a while and my teeth needed a substantial amount of work. Dr Manish Shah and his staff made the entire process understandable and gave me a clear plan of how I could fix my teeth which suited my budget but still deliver great results. I always felt at ease during procedures even though I have always been anxious about dentists. It's always hard finding the right dentist and in particular when it comes to orthodontics it can be very scary and dreadful. Smile Concepts though has made the experience so much more delightful and less painful than I'd imagine. Although the treatment took longer than expected, it was the sincere professional advice that gave me my pleasing results I have today. I’ve been a customer or Smile Concepts for over 10 years now and I’ve never been disappointed with their services! I’ve had three veneers and a crown done with them. I’m so happy with the results! My smile has drastically changed for the better. The end to end experience with them has been so friendly, easy and professional. From booking an appointment, initial consultation, payment plans (using Openpay) and the actually dental appointment itself. I love that they have a TV above the dental chair so you can listen to music or watch tv shows (I watched an episode of FRIENDS in one of my appointments!) to make the appointment less daunting. I would like to thank Dr Manish Shah for taking time out from his busy schedule and fitting me in at the last minute to take out a tooth I broke. Since I was a child I had received extensive dental work including jaw surgey by another dentist, which left me traumatised with having needle injections. I recently had some a Root canal treatment and a crown done by Dr Manish. I was anxious at the fact that it would be painful, but Dr Shah went through the procedure with me and assured me there would be no pain. I was suprised at how scared I was about needles all along. I did not feel a thing! The nurses were fantastic. They were very supportive and caring and all the team at Smile Concepts go out of their way to make sure you feel comfortable and relaxed. After following what clients had said about them for quite some time and a comprehensive evaluation of the various dentist clinics, I decided to perform cosmetic dentistry surgery at Smile Concept and it turned out that I had made the right choice. After a lot of work involving multiple visits spanning over 4 months, I couldn't be happier with the work I had completed. Dr Manish is incredibly professional and kept me at ease through a cleaning and a few fillings/crowns. At no point did I feel stressed out when getting the dental work done, which was a breath of fresh air after a few negative experiences as a kid! They even have TV monitors on the ceiling and you get to choose the music videos - bonus! The staff were also very professional and pleasant to deal with - there was a little mishap with the scheduled time on my last visit which wasn't handled as well as I would have liked, but these things happen and overall it was a very positive experience! I visited Smile Concepts a few weeks ago and was really pleased with the experience: The ladies at the front desk were simply lovely, and Dr. Kinnah Shah listened patiently to my concerns and discussed a range of options to help me to make up my mind. But I can't forget Aiman (the oral hygienist) and Romana (the dental assistant/nurse); these two made a typically-dreaded cleaning session so much fun (honestly)! From the awesome 90s mix and the happy images on the screen, to the gentle yet thorough clean and expert use of the suction tool (there was minimal gum or cheek suction), Aiman and Romana really made me feel comfortable. I can't wait for my six-monthly appointment! Keep up the great work, everyone :) ~ Thomas N

My family and I have been patients of Smile Concepts for 8 years. The service we have received has never been anything but excellent from the courteous reception staff and the availability of parking space which is so short in the city, to the skilful dentists esp my dentist, Dr Manish Shah. Manish is the best dentist I have ever been to. He is not only thorough, but his tooth extractions, root canals, crowns, and even administration of local anaesthetic are painless. I would even trust Manish with my toddler children.Nothing is ever too much trouble for him. I have always found his manner to be polite and professional. I was looking to replace a crown and generally tweak my smile to make it more even and full. After seeing a different dentist who quoted me $17k for a full set of veneers, I looked for a second opinion and I am so glad I spoke to Dr Kinnar, who actually asked what I was trying to achieve instead of automatically jumping to veneers. He designed a treatment plan that only included one veneer in place of my crown and a course of invisalign, a gum laser recontouring and whitening which was much healthier for my younger teeth (and non permanent) and about half the cost. The dental and reception staff are also super nice, and very helpful. I now have an amazing smile, thanks so much to Dr Kinnar and the whole Smile Concepts CBD team ❤️ ~ Nicole B

I was flying from Adelaide to Sydney en route to USA on 25 April when I cracked a tooth having breakfast. Although not markedly painful, it was cold sensitive and I was in a dilemma...do I take the flight to New York and risk 2 weeks away with it or not?? I had 4 hours in Sydney before departure, so on arrival(ANZAC day) I did a google, found this clinic, spoke to the dentist re my dilemma, and he agreed to see me immediately. Train into CBD from the airport, he met me in Pitt st outside the dental surgery. In the chair, he offered a coupe of options, he assured me a definitive restoration was the best option and that I would have time to have it fixed and be back at the airport for my international departure. He was absolutely right. I have nothing but high praise for the service Dr Amrinder Oberoi provided. ~ Paul N

Ok, let's start from the beggining. I went to Smile concept with wisdom teeth pain and i met Dr. Manish, Dr. Heba, Sylvia and Aylin!!! After I met Gayane and Lisa, after first time I met Lisa I even started to call her mom:)))) Dr. Heba and Aylin both did great and really professional job one year ago like today with Gayane. Dr Manish did feeling for me and I didn't feel any pain. Then I took my sister and my brother in law to Smile concept and both of them were happy with the quality of the job done by Dr. Kinnar. Dr. Manish, Dr Heba and Dr. Kinnar are very skilled and professional in what they doing and all staff members are helpful and friendly especially Sylvia and Aylin!!! I’m essentially free from headache and jaw pain now, since treatment by Dr Manish. I always went to my chiro weekly and sometimes would hang out for my next treatment. Instantly, after being fitted with a sleeping dental splint, no chiro for 5 weeks!! I’ve come to Smile Concepts a handful of times, significantly for a tongue-tie frenectomy, splint/guard, and two veneers - AND I choose to travel 1.5 hrs to come here. Manish is incredibly insightful and sees the whole picture, not just surface teeth issues. This is only the second time in my life I’ve had a dentist I trust. P.S.
